Nagarjuna is working for a very expensive socio fantasy film titled Damarukam. The shooting of the movie is currently going on in a special set erected at Annapoorna Studios and industry sources inform us that the movie will move to Karnataka in a few days for some crucial scenes.
The movie would be shot in some of the ancient temples that dot the Andhra Karnataka border. Damarukam has King Nagarjuna in the lead role and Anushka will be pairing with him.The movie involves some heavy graphics work and the producers are not sparing any expense to make the movie visually and technically superior. The movie is reportedly about the rise of a common man from a mere mortal to a ‘God’ when he stands up to fight evil.
The film is being directed by director Srinivas Reddy and the movie is being produced by R.R. Movie Makers. This is the most expensive movie in the career of Nagarjuna and is one of the eagerly awaited projects of the year.
