Actress Anushka will be the item girl in Dabaang Remake

Salman Khan’s Dabangg is being remade in Tamil and Telugu. Pawan Kalyan is reprising the role of Salman in Telugu called Gabbar Singh. His heroine is Shruti Haasan. In the original the Munni Badnam Hui number featured Malaika Arora Khan which went on to become the rage. Therefore there has been a lot of curiosity about who will be the featured item girl in the remakes.


In Telugu at least, the wait is over as Anushka has been roped in for the Munni number. Word is that she has been paid a bomb for her appearance. In Tamil, the search is still on for a suitably sexy siren.
