Speaking on the occasion director Srinu Vaitla thanked the Telugu audience for making this film a super hit. He also stated that the reason for the success is Mahesh Babu and the movie’s script. Music director Thaman has worked hard for an year to get this output. He also thanked cinematographer KV Guhan for his fabulous work. He said the choreography of Dinesh in three songs is excellent. The efforts made by Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat are remarkable, he concludes.
Producer Anil Sunkara said that the movie released in 1600 screens worldwide in countries like South Africa, Netherlands and Finland for the first time. According to him, the movie collected Rs 21.22 crore share in three days is an all time industry record. This movie success is a big gift to Krishna and Mahesh fans worldwide.
Producer Ram Achanta stated that the film collected $ 1 million in US in just two days and the film’s gross as on Sunday is $ 1.4 million. This is the best opening weekend for any movie in India till date and it is too early to predict the success range. He also thanked Mahesh Babu and Srinu Vaitla for giving huge hit in their banner. He stated that the movie released in 65 screens and is running to packed houses in Krishna district is an all time record.
Producer Gopichand requested the audience not to encourage piracy and thanked the audience for making Dookudu a huge hit.
